Now, let's all practice appropriate comments by talking about how hilarious and awesome Sterling Knight's name is. That's his real name, you guys! Amazing!

I totally had to look up which kid you were talking about. That name is amazing!
With parents like that there's no need for Henry Willson-like publicists. Also not being in the 50's helps too.

Oh my god, the tags on this blog are amazing. I love you two!

SK's name is amazing and hilarious, which seems appropriate for him.

Clearly Dark, White, and Silver were already taken.

I love that his parents went there. Clearly they were already planning his television career.

His name is pretty hilarious but I still think that Moon Unit Zappa wins the horrible given name contest.

In related news despite (or perhaps because of) having such an awesome name Sterling is a pretty good actor. Though he does have to play against Demi, whom I dislike...intensely...

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the name of "Aaron Stone" star Kelly Blatz. He's a guy with a girl's name and his last name sounds like a comic-book sound effect. And then there's Chelsea Staub, but she only amuses me because of a running gag I have with the similar last names of sports stars Rusty Staub and Roger Staubach. (And doesn't "Rusty Staub" sound like a weapon or something? "He picked up the rusty staub and thrust it into the victim's chest with a 'blatz!'l

My daughters and I got to meet Sterling Knight at a Radio Disney promo event and he's as funny in person as he is on the show...I mentioned that I remembered him from a guest appearance on "The Closer" (proof that he can play *three* distinct characters) and when I commented that I thought he had the best chance of having a career outside of Disney he said "god I hope so".
