From the Bad Idea Files

You guys know how much I love High School Musical. And how much I love La Tizz, and how many ridiculous (and downright terrible) things I will watch for her. Heck, I'm even planning to watch her (presumably) terrible CW show about cheerleading with Aly Michalka. Okay, actually, I'm pretty psyched about that.

The point is: Tiz iss talented! She's sassy! I'd watch her in anything.

But just because I'd watch it doesn't make Sharpay's Fabulous Adventures anything other than a TERRRRRRRIBLE idea. For serious.

Why has Disney established a precedent that makes "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventures" an acceptable final title for something? I mean, I love HSM, but "High School Musical" should not actually be the title for a TV movie about a high school musical.

Incidentally, I would totally watch all of Sharpay's Fabulous Adventures if Sharpay's charming twin brother made an occasional experience. Actually I'll be probably be tempted if they even mention Ryan and he never actually appears on screen. That might be embarrassing.

I find myself hoping that it involves time travel.

If it's a remake of Bill and Ted featuring Sharpay, I feel it could indeed be *fabulous*.

Haha, oh god I thought you were joking about this movie being real at first. Sadly not. This is a terrible idea, half the fandom only watched the movies for Zefron.

If Ryan shows up I may watch it... Hell, I love Tiz, I'll probably watch it anyways.

Part of me really hopes Lucas Grabeel has something better to do than be in this... but part of me really really wants to see Ryan Evans back on screen.
(Also, I worry that he actually doesn't have anything better to do).

...Not gonna lie, I will watch this and probably love it. My love for Sharpay/the Tizz knows no bounds.

@ Everyone: Yeah, I feel like most of the universe agrees that this project would be 110% if Ryan is present in it in some way (and at least 500% better if Lucas Grabeel actually *appears*).

@ Kat: The name "High School Musical" was especially problematic considering they didn't actually PERFORM a musical, just auditioned for one. I was misled!

@ anna_sinestra: BWAHAHAHA, yes. "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K." "We don't really have those in New York." "Strange things are afoot at the Duane Reede."

@ kizna1200: I had really hoped it would turn out to be an April Fools joke or something, but no suck luck.

@ Ty: Exactly. I love Tizz and will watch her in anything, but man, it's gonna be bad.

@ Tessa: ... sadly, I'm not sure he *does*. Dear Lucas: PICK BETTER PROJECTS.

@ Anon: Totally ditto.

I'm really just excited for this because they're apparently filming in Toronto in June, which is the same time as the MMVAs, which Miley Cyrus is hosting this year.

AKA MILEY AND TIZZ IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME AS ME BOOM MY HEAD HAS EXPLODED.
