Oh, yes, Vanessa. Let's.

So I just caught the trailer for Bandslam, the new movie starring Vanessa Hudgens and Aly Michalka, of Aly & AJ/Phil of the Future fame:

Is there anything funnier than seeing Vanessa Hudgens yell "Let's. Start. SHREDDING!"?

Possibly only seeing her "rock out" on a Bread song. A Bread song that was also covered by Nsync.

Oh, wait, there's a third option! How about seeing her pretend to play the guitar? That's pretty good, too.

In conclusion: poor Lisa Kudrow. Lady, you've got Friends money! You don't need this crap!

Of course, I am totally seeing this movie the minute it hits theaters. Shut up.

Oh God, I saw the trailer for this during that JoBro 3D movie (I KNOW, but I didn't pay for the tickets and I needed to get out of the house.... HONEST!)

Let's start shredding? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ahem.

One dude sez, "you're trying way too hard...." this could be said of Disney. Wait, this is Disney drek, right?

Nope, this comes to us courtesy of Summit Entertainment, the studio that brought us Twilight, and Walden Media- although the latter has collaborated with Disney muliple times in the past, most notably on the first two Narnia films (which Disney will no longer be distributing).

Wow, I didn't think it was possible for anyone to out-tryhard Disney. :P

Sorry, I have a special pet hate for ZOMG-look-how-ROCKER-I-am crap (which all of the Disney stars like to pull, the Jonii probably being the worst offenders), especially when said music is working with a very flimsy definition of 'rock.'

As covers go, give me Boy George any day. Actually, N'Sync wasn't bad either. But I never thought I'd hear the song done so... Disney-fied. And it's not even a Disney film.
